Can't Turn Back

Imagine leaving everything and everyone you’ve ever known and loved. It’s not your choice to go. It’s the only thing you can do to guarantee your safety. You can never come back. You must cut off virtually all contact with everyone from your old life. You have to take on a completely new identity. And somehow, you must forget about it all and move forward – all the while looking over your shoulder to make sure the danger hasn’t caught up to you.
This is what the Hutton family of Massachusetts must try to do when they are forced to go into the witness protection program and relocate to a small town in northern Michigan. Five hours north of any major city, above the prairie flatlands, they try to heal old wounds, make a new life – a good life – and keep the past at bay. But is that ever really possible?
